¹⁶ He that believeth and is baptized, shall be saved; but he that believeth not, shall be damned.

¹ Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God, through our Lord Jesus Christ:

⁹ If we confess our sins, he is faithful, and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

³ Jesus answered and said to him, Verily, verily I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

⁴ Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death, that as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we also should walk in newness of life.

¹⁷ Therefore to him that knoweth to do good and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

³⁸ And Peter said, Repent, and be baptized every one of you, in the name of Jesus, for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

¹⁸ For Christ also once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, ¹⁹ but raised to life by the spirit, By which likewise he went and preached to the spirits in prison, ²⁰ Who some time disbelieved, when the long-suffering of God waited in the Days of Noah, while the ark was preparing, wherein few, that is, eight persons were saved through the water: ²¹ The antitype whereof, baptism, now saveth us, (not the putting away the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ, ²² Who being gone into heaven, is on the right-hand of God, angels, and authorities, and powers being subjected to him.

⁹ That if thou confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in thy heart, that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. ¹⁰ For with the heart man believeth to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation.

¹⁶ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him, may not perish, but have everlasting life.

²⁴ Verily, verily I say unto you, he that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and cometh not into condemnation, but is passed from death to life.

²³ For death is the wages of sin; but eternal life is the gift of God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

³¹ And they said, Believe in the Lord Jesus, and thou shalt be saved and thy houshold.

⁸ For by grace ye are saved through faith; and this not of yourselves: ⁹ it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
