Matthew 6:33

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Luke 16:19-31

19 There was a certain rich man, who was clothed in purple and fine linen, and feasted splendidly every day. 20 And there was a certain beggar, named Lazarus, who was laid at his gate, full of sores; 21 and desiring to be fed with the crumbs that fell from the rich man's table: yea, the dogs also came and licked his sores. 22 And the beggar died and was carried by angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died and was buried: 23 And in hell lifting up his eyes, being in torments, he seeth Abraham afar off and Lazarus in his bosom. 24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 25 But Abraham said, Son, remember, that thou in thy life-time receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. 26 And besides all this, between us and you, there is a great gulph fixed; so that they who would pass from us to you, cannot, neither can they pass to us that would come from thence. 27 Then he said, I pray thee, therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: 28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify to them, lest they also come into this place of torment. 29 Abraham saith to him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. 30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham; but if one go to them from the dead, they will repent. 31 And he said to him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded tho' one rose from the dead.

Hebrews 5:11

11 Concerning whom we have many things to say, and hard to be explained, seeing ye are become dull of hearing.

Matthew 11:16-17

16 But whereto shall I liken this generation? It is like children sitting in the markets, 17 and calling to their fellows, And saying, We have piped to you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned to tou, and ye have not lamented.

Romans 12:2

2 And be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.

Revelation 3:15-16

15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: O that thou wert cold or hot! 16 So because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot; I will spue thee out of my mouth.
