¹⁶ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him, may not perish, but have everlasting life.

¹ Be ye followers of me, as I also am of Christ. ² Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the orders, as I delivered them to you.

³⁴ Then Peter opening his mouth, said, I perceive of a truth that God is not a respecter of persons: ³⁵ But in every nation, he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted by him.

²³ The life is more than meat, and the body than raiment.

¹⁵ Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world: if any one love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. ¹⁶ For all that is in the world, the desire of the flesh, and the desire of the eye, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. ¹⁷ And the world passeth away, and the desire thereof; but he that doth the will of God abideth for ever.

⁹ After this I saw, and behold a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and tribes, and people, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes and palms in their hands.

¹⁹ For though I am free from all men, I made myself the servant of all, that I might gain the more. ²⁰ To the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews: to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law: ²¹ To them that are without the law, as without the law, (being not without the law to God, but under the law to Christ) that I might gain them that are without the law. ²² To the weak I became as weak, that I might gain the weak: I became all things to all men, that by all means I might save some. ²³ And this I do for the gospel's sake, that I may be partaker thereof with you.

¹⁹ If ye were of the world, the world would love its own; but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

²⁸ There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female; for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

² And be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.
