¹⁵ And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden, to dress it, and to keep it.

⁶ Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: ⁷ Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, ⁸ Provideth her provisions in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest. ⁹ How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep? ¹⁰ Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: ¹¹ So shall thy poverty come as one that traveleth, and thy want as an armed man.

⁶ Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:

¹⁴ As the door turneth upon its hinges, so doth the slothful upon his bed.

¹² A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself; but the simple pass on, and are punished.

²⁵ The desire of the slothful killeth him; for his hands refuse to labor.
