³² But whoever committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul. ³³ A wound and dishonor shall he get; and his reproach shall not be wiped away.

¹ Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whoever thou art, that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest, doest the same things.

⁴ And the serpent said to the woman, Ye shall not surely die: ⁵ For God doth know, that in the day ye eat of it, then your eyes shall be opened: and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

¹⁷ Therefore, if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

¹³ There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above what ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

⁹ Lie not one to another, seeing ye have put off the old man with his deeds; ¹⁰ And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
