¹² Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? there is more hope of a fool than of him.

¹ Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whoever thou art, that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest, doest the same things. ² But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth, against them who commit such things. ³ And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them who do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God? ⁴ Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness, and forbearance, and long-suffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

¹² So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty. ¹³ For he shall have judgment without mercy that hath shown no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

³¹ Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and evil-speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: ³² And be ye kind one to another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

¹⁹ Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: ²⁰ For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

¹¹ Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judgest the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge. ¹² There is one lawgiver, who is able to save, and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
