¹⁸ "Be glad and rejoice forever in what I will create, for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight and its people a joy.

³⁸ And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and Philip baptized him. ³⁹ When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away, and the eunuch did not see him any more, for he went on his way rejoicing.

³³ And at that hour of the night he took them and washed their wounds; then immediately he and all his family were baptized. ³⁴ Then he brought them into his house and set a meal before them, and he was really rejoicing, having believed in God with his whole family.

¹⁰ In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents."

³ Not only that, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;
