⁴² They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

⁴⁴ All the believers were together and had everything in common. ⁴⁵ Selling their possessions and goods, they shared with anyone who was in need. ⁴⁶ And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they ate together with glad and sincere hearts, ⁴⁷ praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

² Carry one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the Law of Christ.

³ We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And this fellowship of ours is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ.

²⁴ And let us consider how to spur one another on to love and good deeds.

⁹ Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their work. ¹⁰ For if one falls, his companion may help him up. But pity the one who falls and there is no one to help him up. ¹¹ If two lies down together they keep warm. How can one be warm alone? ¹² One may be overcome, but two may make resistance: A threefold cable is not lightly broken.

²⁵ Let us not neglect meeting together, as some have made a habit, but let us encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

¹¹ Therefore encourage one another and build up each other, just as indeed you are doing.
