⁹ Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who submit to or perform homosexual acts,

⁷ I wish that all men were as I am. But each man has his own gift from God; one has this gift, another has that. ⁸ Now to the unmarried and widows I say this: It is good for them to remain unmarried, as I am. ⁹ But if they cannot control themselves, let them marry. For it is better to marry than to burn with passion.

⁸ Be in debt to no man — apart from the debt of love one to another. He who loves his fellow-man has fulfilled the law. ⁹ The commandments “Do not commit adultery,” “Do not murder,” “Do not steal,” “Do not covet,” and any other commandments, are summed up in this one decree: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” ¹⁰ Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

²⁷ Likewise, the men abandoned natural relations with women and burned with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

²² You shall not lie with a man, as with a woman. That is detestable.

³ Let no foreigner who has joined himself to the LORD speak, saying, “the LORD will surely separate me from his people.” Do not let the eunuch say, “Behold, I am a dry tree.” ⁴ For the LORD says: "To the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths, who choose what pleases me. They hold fast to my covenant. ⁵ To them I will give in my house and within my walls a memorial and a name better than of sons and of daughters. I will give them an everlasting name, that will not be cut off.

But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

²⁶ For this reason God gave them over to dishonorable passions.
