¹ I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. ² My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. ³ O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. ⁴ I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. ⁵ They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. ⁶ This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. ⁷ The angel of the LORD camps round about them that fear him, and delivers them. ⁸ O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusts in him. ⁹ O fear the LORD, all of you his saints: for there is no lack to them that fear him. ¹⁰ The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing. ¹¹ Come, all of you children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD. ¹² What man is he that desires life, and loves many days, that he may see good? ¹³ Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking guile. ¹⁴ Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. ¹⁵ The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. ¹⁶ The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. ¹⁷ The righteous cry, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. ¹⁸ The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saves such as be of a contrite spirit. ¹⁹ Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivers him out of them all. ²⁰ He keeps all his bones: not one of them is broken. ²¹ Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate. ²² The LORD redeems the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.

³⁰ And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Isaiah, and said, Understand you what you read? ³¹ And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.

¹³ For by one Spirit (o. pneuma) are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. (o. pneuma)

⁹ And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for you: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

¹² For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.

³³ Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

¹ This know also, that in the last days dangerous times shall come. ² For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, ³ Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, ⁴ Traitors, rebellious, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; ⁵ Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

¹⁴ For the body is not one member, but many.

²⁵ Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as all of you see the day approaching.

¹ Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeks and intermeddles with all wisdom.
