16 You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour.
Bible verses about "honesty" | UKJV
13 Righteous lips are the delight of kings; and they love him that speaks right.
9 He that walks uprightly walks surely: but he that perverts his ways shall be known.
37 But let your communication (o. logos) be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these comes of evil.
31 And as all of you would that men should do to you, do all of you also to them likewise.
16 And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void to offence toward God, and toward men.
18 Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.
3 The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.
8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. 9 Those things, which all of you have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
9 Lie not one to another, seeing that all of you have put off the old man with his deeds; 10 For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: 11 Let him shun evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and pursue it. 12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.
16 These six things does the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: 17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18 An heart that devises wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, 19 A false witness that speaks lies, and he that sows discord among brethren. 20 My son, keep your father's commandment, and forsake not the law of your mother:
32 And all of you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
21 Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.
1 Better is the poor that walks in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool.
22 Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight.
