¹⁹ What? know all of you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (o. pneuma) which is in you, which all of you have of God, and all of you are not your own? ²⁰ For all of you are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, (o. pneuma) which are God's.

¹⁷ Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high-minded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy; ¹⁸ That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; ¹⁹ Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

⁶ But godliness with contentment is great gain. ⁷ For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

⁷ But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise yourself rather unto godliness. ⁸ For bodily exercise profits little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

²⁰ But all of you, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, (o. pneuma) ²¹ Keep yourselves in the love (o. agape) of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

³³ But seek all of you first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

⁴ For there are certain men crept in unexpectedly, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

⁸ He has showed you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?

¹ I plead to you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that all of you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

¹ Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, (o. pneuma) perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

⁷ And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness love. (o. agape)

⁵ Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

¹ Blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful. ² But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law does he meditate day and night. ³ And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he does shall prosper.

¹² Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

⁵ And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; ⁶ And to knowledge wilful restrain; and to wilful restrain patience; and to patience godliness; ⁷ And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness love. (o. agape) ⁸ For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that all of you shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

⁶ But godliness with contentment is great gain.

¹¹ Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought all of you to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

⁸ For bodily exercise profits little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
