⁷ So you, O son of man, I have set you a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore you shall hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me. ⁸ When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, you shall surely die; if you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at your hand. ⁹ Nevertheless, if you warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.

⁸ And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that all of you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

²² Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep yourself pure.

³² Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

²⁷ Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it.

⁶ But he gives more grace. Wherefore he says, God resists the proud, but gives grace unto the humble.

⁸ But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

¹¹ For he that bids him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

⁴ He becomes poor that deals with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent makes rich.

¹¹ And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

⁵ For every man shall bear his own burden.

¹⁰ For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. ¹¹ For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies. ¹² Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread. ¹³ But all of you, brethren, be not weary in well doing. ¹⁴ And if any man obey not our word (o. logos) by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed. ¹⁵ Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.
