Isaiah 55:2

2 Wherefore do all of you spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfies not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat all of you that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

1 Thessalonians 5:6-8

6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. 7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. 8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; (o. agape) and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

Romans 14:1-23

1 Him that is weak in the faith receive all of you, but not to doubtful disputations. 2 For one believes that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eats herbs. 3 Let not him that eats despise him that eats not; and let not him which eats not judge him that eats: for God has received him. 4 Who are you that judge another man's servant? to his own master he stands or falls. Yea, he shall be held up: for God is able to make him stand. 5 One man esteems one day above another: another esteems every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. 6 He that regards the day, regards it unto the Lord; and he that regards not the day, to the Lord he does not regard it. He that eats, eats to the Lord, for he gives God thanks; and he that eats not, to the Lord he eats not, and gives God thanks. 7 For none of us lives to himself, and no man dies to himself. 8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. 9 In order to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. 10 But why do you judge your brother? or why do you set at nothing your brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. 11 For it is written, As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. 12 So then every one of us shall give account (o. logos) of himself to God. 13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother's way. 14 I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteems any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean. 15 But if your brother be grieved with your food, now walk you not charitably. (o. agape) Destroy not him with your food, for whom Christ died. 16 Let not then your good be evil spoken of: 17 For the kingdom of God is not food and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. (o. pneuma) 18 For he that in these things serves Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men. 19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. 20 For food destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eats with offence. 21 It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby your brother stumbles, or is offended, or is made weak. 22 Have you faith? have it to yourself before God. Happy is he that condemns not himself in that thing which he allows. 23 And he that doubts is damned if he eat, because he eats not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

Romans 12:1

1 I plead to you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that all of you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Proverbs 20:1

1 Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.

Proverbs 23:29-35

29 Who has woe? who has sorrow? who has contentions? who has babbling? who has wounds without cause? who has redness of eyes? 30 They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine. 31 Look not you upon the wine when it is red, when it gives his colour in the cup, when it moves itself aright. 32 At the last it bites like a serpent, and stings like an adder. 33 your eyes shall behold strange women, and your heart shall utter perverse things. 34 Yea, you shall be as he that lies down in the midst of the sea, or as he that lies upon the top of a mast. 35 They have stricken me, shall you say, and I was not sick; they have beaten me, and I felt it not: when shall I awake? I will seek it yet again.

1 Corinthians 3:16

16 Know all of you not that all of you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit (o. pneuma) of God dwells in you?

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be all of you transformed by the renewing of your mind, that all of you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Romans 13:13-14

13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. 14 But put all of you on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof.

1 Corinthians 15:33

33 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

1 Corinthians 10:13

13 There has no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that all of you are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that all of you may be able to bear it.

Galatians 5:19-21

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, worldy jealousies, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Galatians 5:21

21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

1 Peter 5:8

8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour:

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

19 What? know all of you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (o. pneuma) which is in you, which all of you have of God, and all of you are not your own? 20 For all of you are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, (o. pneuma) which are God's.
