²⁵ Lust not after her beauty in your heart; neither let her take you with her eyelids.

¹ But now thus says the LORD that created you, O Jacob, and he that formed you, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed you, I have called you by your name; you are mine.

²⁸ But I say unto you, That whosoever looks on a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.

⁵ Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

³¹ But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

⁸ Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. ⁹ Those things, which all of you have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

²⁵ And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit? ²⁶ If all of you then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take all of you thought for the rest?

³⁰ I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which has sent me.

³⁰ Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that fears the LORD, she shall be praised.

⁴ I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, that all of you stir not up, nor awake my love, until he please.

⁹ But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.

⁴ Love (o. agape) suffers long, and is kind; love (o. agape) envies not; love (o. agape) vaunts not itself, is not puffed up, ⁵ Does not behave itself unseemly, seeks not her own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil; ⁶ Rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; ⁷ Bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

²² Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, love, (o. agape) peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
