¹¹ You crown the year with your goodness; and your paths drop fatness.

¹² So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

¹ But now thus says the LORD that created you, O Jacob, and he that formed you, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed you, I have called you by your name; you are mine. ² When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you: when you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon you. ³ For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour: I gave Egypt for your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for you. ⁴ Since you were precious in my sight, you have been honourable, and I have loved you: therefore will I give men for you, and people for your life. ⁵ Fear not: for I am with you: I will bring your seed from the east, and gather you from the west; ⁶ I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth; ⁷ Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him. ⁸ Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears. ⁹ Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and show us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth. ¹⁰ All of you are my witnesses, says the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that all of you may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. ¹¹ I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour. ¹² I have declared, and have saved, and I have showed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore all of you are my witnesses, says the LORD, that I am God. ¹³ Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it? ¹⁴ Thus says the LORD, your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry is in the ships. ¹⁵ I am the LORD, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King. ¹⁶ Thus says the LORD, which makes a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters; ¹⁷ Which brings forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power; they shall lie down together, they shall not rise: they are extinct, they are quenched as tow. ¹⁸ Remember all of you not the former things, neither consider the things of old. ¹⁹ Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall all of you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. ²⁰ The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen. ²¹ This people have I formed for myself; they shall show forth my praise. ²² But you have not called upon me, O Jacob; but you have been weary of me, O Israel. ²³ You have not brought me the small cattle of your burnt offerings; neither have you honoured me with your sacrifices. I have not caused you to serve with an offering, nor wearied you with incense. ²⁴ You have bought me no sweet cane with money, neither have you filled me with the fat of your sacrifices: but you have made me to serve with your sins, you have wearied me with your iniquities. ²⁵ I, even I, am he that blots out your transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember your sins. ²⁶ Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare you, that you may be justified. ²⁷ Your first father has sinned, and your teachers have transgressed against me. ²⁸ Therefore I have profaned the princes of the sanctuary, and have given Jacob to the curse, and Israel to reproaches.

¹¹ For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

² Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.

¹² Blessed is the man that endures temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to them that love him.

⁴ Delight yourself also in the LORD: and he shall give you the desires of your heart.

¹⁵ Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.

³ Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. ⁴ I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; ⁵ That in every thing all of you are enriched by him, in all utterance, (o. logos) and in all knowledge; ⁶ Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: ⁷ So that all of you come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:

¹¹ For he shall give his angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.

⁴ Grant you according to your own heart, and fulfill all your counsel.

²⁴ This is the day which the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

¹⁷ Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

¹¹ For by me your days shall be multiplied, and the years of your life shall be increased.

²⁴ The LORD bless you, and keep you: ²⁵ The LORD make his face shine upon you, and be gracious unto you: ²⁶ The LORD lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.
