²¹ submittinge youre selves one to another in the feare of God. ²² Wemen submit youre selves vnto youre awne husbandes as vnto the Lorde. ²³ For the husbande is the wyves heed even as Christ is the heed of the congregacion and the same is the saveoure of the body. ²⁴ Therfore as the cogregacion is in subieccion to Christ lykwyse let the wyves be in subieccion to their husbandes in all thinges. ²⁵ Husbandes love youre wyves even as Christ loved the congregacion and gave him silfe for it ²⁶ to sanctifie it and clensed it in the fountayne of water thorow the worde ²⁷ to make it vnto him selfe a glorious congregacion with oute spot or wrynckle or eny soche thinge: but that it shuld be holy and with out blame. ²⁸ So ought men to love their wyves as their awne bodyes. He that loveth his wyfe loveth him sylfe. ²⁹ For no ma ever yet hated his awne flesshe: but norissheth and cherisseth it even as the lorde doth the congregacion. ³⁰ For we are members of his body of his flesshe and of his bones. ³¹ For this cause shall a man leave father and mother and shall cotinue with his wyfe and two shalbe made one flesshe. ³² This is a great secrete but I speake bitwene Christ and the cogregacion. ³³ Neverthelesse do ye so that every one of you love his wyfe truely even as him silfe. And let ye wyfe se that she feare her husbade.

¹³ makinge the worde of God of none effecte through youre awne tradicions which ye have ordeyned. And many soche thinges ye do.

¹ And Iesus answered and spake vnto them agayne in similitudes sayinge. ² The kingdome of heve is lyke vnto a certayne kynge which maryed his sonne ³ and sent forth his servantes to call them that were byd to the weddinge and they wolde not come. ⁴ Ageyne he sent forth other servauntes sayinge: Tell them which are bydden: beholde I have prepared my dynner myne oxen and my fatlinges are kylled and all thinges are redy come vnto the mariage. ⁵ But they made light of it and went their wayes: one to his ferme place another about his marchaundise

⁷ When the kinge hearde that he was wroth and send forth his warryers and distroyed those murtherers and brent vp their cyte. ⁸ Then sayde he to his servauutes: the weddinge was prepared. But they which were bydden were not worthy. ⁹ Go ye therfore out into ye hyewayes and as many as ye finde byd them to the mariage. ¹⁰ The seruauntes wet out into the hiewayes and gaddered to gedder as many as they coulde fynde both good and bad and ye weddinge was furnysshed with gestes. ¹¹ Then the kynge came in to viset the gestes and spyed there a ma which had not on a weddinge garment ¹² and sayde vnto him: frende how fortuned it that thou camest in hither and hast not on a weddyng garment? And he was eve spechlesse. ¹³ Then sayde the kynge to his ministers: take and bynde hym hand and fote and caste hym into vtter darcknes there shalbe wepinge and gnasshinge of teth. ¹⁴ For many are called and feawe be chosen.

¹ Lykewyse let the wyves be in subieccio to their husbades that eve they which beleve not the worde maye with out the worde be wonne by the conversacion of ye wyves: ² whill they beholde youre pure coversacion coupled with feare. ³ Whose apparell shall not be outwarde with broyded heare and hanginge on of golde other in puttinge on of gorgious aparell: ⁴ but let the hyd man of the herte be incorrupt with a meke and a quyet sprete which sprete is before God a thinge moche set by. ⁵ For after this maner in the olde tyme dyd the holy wemen which trusted in God tyer the selves and were obediet to their husbades ⁶ eve as Sara obeyed Abraha and called him Lorde: whose doughters ye are as longe as ye do well and be not afrayde of every shadowe. ⁷ Lyke wyse ye men dwell with them accordinge to knowledge gevinge honoure vnto the wyfe as vnto the weaker vessell and as vnto them that are heyres also of the grace of lyfe that youre prayers be not let. ⁸ In coclusion be ye all of one mynde one suffre with another love as brethren be petifull be courteous ⁹ not redringe evyll for evyll nether rebuke for rebuke: but contrary wyse blesse remembringe yt ye are thervnto called even yt ye shuld be heyres of blessinge. ¹⁰ If eny ma longe after life and loveth to se good dayes let him refrayne his tonge fro evyll and his lippes that they speake not gyle.

¹⁸ And the LORde God sayd: it is not good that man shulde be alone I will make hym an helper to beare him company: ¹⁹ And after yt the LORde God had make of the erth all maner beastes of the felde and all maner foules of the ayre he brought them vnto Adam to see what he wold call them. And as Ada called all maner livynge beastes: eve so are their names. ²⁰ And Adam gave names vnto all maner catell and vnto the foules of the ayre and vnto all maner beastes of the felde. But there was no helpe founde vnto Adam to beare him companye ²¹ Then the LORde God cast a slomber on Adam and he slepte. And then he toke out one of his rybbes and in stede ther of he fylled vp the place with flesh. ²² And the LORde God made of the rybbe which he toke out of Adam a woma and brought her vnto Adam. ²³ Then sayd Ada this is once bone of my boones and flesh of my flesh. This shall be called woman: because she was take of the man. ²⁴ For this cause shall a man leve father and mother and cleve vnto his wyfe and they shall be one flesh. ²⁵ And they were ether of them naked both Adam and hys wyfe ad were not ashamed:
