Matthew 4:4

4 But Jesus answered: "Scripture says--'It is not on bread alone that man is to live, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'"

Matthew 15:7-9

7 Hypocrites! It was well said by Isaiah when he prophesied about you-- 8 'This is a people that honor me with their lips, While their hearts are far removed from me; 9 But vainly do they worship me, For they teach but the precepts of men.'"

Romans 12:17-21

17 Never return injury for injury. Aim at doing what all men will recognize as honorable. 18 If it is possible, as far as rests with you, live peaceably with every one. 19 Never avenge yourselves, dear friends, but make way for the Wrath of God; for Scripture declares--'"It is for me to avenge, I will requite," says the Lord.' 20 Rather--'If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him to drink. By doing this you will heap coals of fire upon his head.' 21 Never be conquered by evil, but conquer evil with good.

1 John 2:18

18 My Children, these are the last days. You were told that an Anti-Christ was coming; and many Anti-Christ's have already arisen. By that we know that these are the last days.

Matthew 4:8-10

8 The third time, the Devil took Jesus to a very high mountain, and, showing him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor, said to him: 9 "All these I will give you, if you will fall at my feet and do homage to me." 10 Then Jesus said to him: "Begone, Satan! for Scripture says-- 'Thou shalt do homage to the Lord thy God, and worship him only.'"

Ephesians 5:1-7

1 Therefore imitate God, as his dear children, 2 And live a life of love, following the example of the Christ, who loved you and gave himself for you as 'an offering and a sacrifice to God, that should be fragrant and acceptable.' 3 As for unchastity and every kind of impurity, or greed, do not let them even be mentioned among you, as befits Christ's People, 4 Nor shameful conduct, nor foolish talk or jesting, for they are wholly out of place among you; but rather thanksgiving. 5 For of this you may be sure--that no one who is unchaste or impure or greedy of gain (for to be greedy of gain is idolatry) has any place awaiting him in the kingdom of the Christ and God. 6 Do not let any one deceive you with specious arguments. Those are the sins that bring down the Wrath of God upon the disobedient. 7 Therefore have nothing to do with such people.

1 Timothy 2:5

5 There is but one God, and one mediator between God and men--the man, Christ Jesus,

1 John 4:1

1 Dear friends, do not trust every inspiration, but test each inspiration, to see whether it proceeds from God; because many false Prophets have gone out into the world.
