² There is nothing, however covered up, which will not be uncovered, nor anything kept secret which will not become known.

³¹ Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do everything to the honor of God. ³² Do not cause offence either to Jews or Greeks or to the Church of God; ³³ For I, also, try to please everybody in everything, not seeking my own advantage, but that of men in general, that they may be saved.

¹⁴ And this Good News of the Kingdom shall be proclaimed throughout the world as a witness to all nations; and then will come the end.

¹⁵ Do not love the world or what the world can offer. When any one loves the world, there is no love for the Father in him; ¹⁶ for all that the world can offer--the gratification of the earthly nature, the gratification of the eye, the pretentious life--belongs, not to the Father, but to the world. ¹⁷ And the world, and all that it gratifies, is passing away, but he who does God's will remains for ever.
