Matthew 6:33

33 But seek first the kingdom of God, and the righteousness required by him, and all those things will be superadded to you.

Luke 16:19-31

19 There was a certain rich man who was clad with purple and cotton robes, and who feasted daily in a splendid manner. 20 And there was a certain poor man, named Lazarus, who was laid at his gate, full of sores, 21 desirous indeed to be fed with the crumbs which fell from his table: and moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. 22 At length this poor man died, and was carried by angels to Abraham's bosom. And the rich man died also, and was buried. 23 And in the mansion of the dead having lifted up his eyes, being in torment, he seeth Abraham far off and Lazarus in his bosom. 24 Whereupon he cried and said, Father, Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 25 And Abraham said, Son, remember that thou receivedst thy good things in thy life time; and Lazarus in like manner, his evil things. But now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. 26 But besides all this, there is betwixt us and you, a huge gulf fixed; so that they, who would go hence to you, cannot. Neither can they who are there, cross over to us. 27 Then he said, I intreat thee therefore, Father, to send him to my father's house; 28 for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, that they also may not come to this place of torment. 29 To this Abraham replied, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hearken to them. 30 Whereupon he said, Nay, father Abraham, but if one go to them from the dead, they will reform. 31 And Abraham said to him, If they will not hearken to Moses, and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one should rise from the dead.

Hebrews 5:11

11 concerning whom we have much to say, but not easy to be explained as you are slow of apprehension.

Matthew 11:16-17

16 Now to what shall I compare this generation? It is like boys in the market place who call to their playfellows, 17 saying, "We have played to you on the pipe, but you have not danced; We have sung to you songs of woe, and you have not lamented."

Romans 12:2

2 and be not conformed to this world; but transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may know experimentally what the will of God is, which is good and acceptable and perfect.

Revelation 3:15-16

15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot. I wish thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then; because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I am about to spit thee out of my mouth,
