2 Timothy 2:26

26 and they who have been captivated by the devil for his pleasure, may rouse and escape from his snare.

Acts 5:29

29 In reply to which Peter and the apostles said, We must obey God rather than men.

Romans 13:1-14

1 Let every soul be subject to the ruling powers; for there is no power but from God. The powers in being are arranged by God; 2 so that he who setteth himself against the power resisteth the arrangement of God; and they who resist shall receive for themselves condemnation. 3 For the rulers are not a terror to good works but to evil. Dost thou then wish not to dread the power? Do that which is good and thou shall have praise from it. 4 For it is a minister of God for good to thee. But if thou dost evil, be in dread; for it wieldeth not the sword in vain. For it is a minister of God, an avenger to execute wrath on him who doth evil. 5 Therefore it is necessary to submit to government, not only on account of punishment, but also for conscience's sake. 6 Indeed on this account you pay taxes, because there are ministers of God continually employed for this very purpose. 7 Render therefore to all their dues; tribute to whom tribute; custom to whom custom; reverence to whom reverence; honour to whom honour is due. 8 Owe no one any thing, save this, to love one another: for he who loveth others hath fulfilled the law: 9 for this: Thou shalt not commit adultery; Thou shall not murder; Thou shalt not steal; Thou shalt not bear false witness; Thou shall not covet; and whatever other commandment there be, is summed up in this commandment, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 10 This love worketh no evil to one's neighbour: This love therefore is the fulfilling of the law. 11 Furthermore, as we know the season, that it is now high time for us to rouse from sleep, for our deliverance is nearer now than when we first believed: 12 The night is far spent; the day is drawing on; let us therefore put off the works of darkness, and put on the armour of light; 13 and let us walk as in day light, in a becoming manner; not in revels and drunken debauches; not in dalliance and wantonness; not in strife and envy; 14 but put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh to fulfil its desires.

1 Corinthians 15:33

33 Be not led astray; "good morals are debauched by talk profane."

Proverbs 1:8-19

8 My son, hear the instruction of thy father and reject not the maxims of thy mother: 9 for thou wilt receive a graceful crown for thy head; and a chain of gold for thy neck. 10 My son, let not wicked men lead thee astray. Consent not when they advise thee, 11 saying, Come with us; partake of blood; and let us hide in the earth an innocent man without cause, 12 and swallow him up alive, as the grave, and take away from earth the remembrance of him. 13 Let us seize his precious substance and fill our houses with spoils. 14 Cast in thy lot among us, and let us all have a common purse. Let one scrip serve us. 15 Go not thou in the way with them; but turn thy foot from their paths. 16 [Omitted] 17 For nets are not spread for birds unjustly. 18 For they who are accomplices to murder, treasure up evils for themselves. And doleful is the destruction of wicked men. 19 Such are the ways of all who commit iniquitous deeds. For by wickedness they destroy their own soul.

Ephesians 5:11

11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them:
