¹⁰ He hath not dealt with us according to our sins; nor retributed to us according to our iniquities. ¹¹ For high as the heaven is from the earth; the Lord hath enlarged his mercy for them who fear him. ¹² Far as the east is distant from the west, he hath removed from us our transgressions. ¹³ As a father pitieth his children; the Lord hath pitied them who fear him, ¹⁴ because he knew our formation. O remember that we are dust.

¹² Hatred stirreth up contention; but friendship covereth all them who are not contentious. ¹³ No trial hath come upon you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, and will not suffer you to be tried above your strength, but will with the trial make a way to escape, that you may be able to bear it.

³⁷ Furthermore, judge not, that so you may not be judged. Condemn not, that so you may not be condemned. Forgive; and you shall be forgiven.

²⁷ But I charge you, my hearers, Love your enemies. Do good to them who hate you.

¹⁶ Confess your faults to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man under the divine impulse is very powerful.

¹³ bearing with one another, and forgiving one another. If any one hath a cause of complaint against another; as the Christ hath freely forgiven you, so do ye.

¹⁴ For if you forgive men their offences, your heavenly father will also forgive you; ¹⁵ but if you do not forgive men their offences, neither will your father forgive your offences.

²¹ Then Peter accosting him, said, Master, how often is my brother to trespass against me and I to forgive him? Till seven times? ²² Jesus saith to him, I do not say to thee seven times, but seventy times seven.

³² and be kind to one another, tenderly compassionate, forgiving one another. And as God hath in Christ forgiven you,

⁹ If we confess our sins, He is faithful, and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

²⁵ But when you stand praying, if you have any ground of complaint against any one, forgive him; that your father who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
