Psalms 34:13

13 keep thy tongue from evil; and thy lips from speaking guile:

John 3:16-17

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him may not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world may be saved by him.

Matthew 18:15-17

15 Wherefore if thy brother trespass against thee, go and expostulate with him when thou and he are alone. If he hearken to thee thou hast gained thy brother. 16 But if he will not hearken to thee, then take with thee one or two, that by the testimony of two or three witnesses everything may be ascertained; 17 And if he disregard them, tell the congregation; and if he disregard the congregation, let him be to thee as the heathen and the publican.

1 Corinthians 6:1-20

1 Dare any of you having a controversy with another submit it to a trial before the unrighteous, and not before the saints? 2 Do you not know that the saints are to judge the world? If then the world is to be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge petty causes? 3 Do you not know that we shall judge angels? Can we not then things which concern this life? 4 If you therefore have controversies relating to affairs of this life, do you appoint those to be judges who are held in no esteem by the congregation? 5 To your shame I say, is it so that there is not among you a wise man; not so much as one who can determine a cause between brethren; 6 but brother goeth to law with brother and that before unbelievers? 7 Now, then, it is indeed a disparagement to you that you have law suits among yourselves. Why do you not rather suffer wrong? Why do you not rather suffer loss? 8 Instead of this you yourselves do wrong, and defraud even your brethren. 9 Do you not know that the unjust shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor the voluptuous, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor such as indulge inordinate desires, nor drunkards, nor railers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 Now such some of you were; but, you have washed yourselves; but you are hallowed, but you are acquitted by the name of the Lord Jesus and by the spirit of our God. 12 Are all things lawful for me! All things however are not expedient. Are all things lawful for me! I however will not be a slave to any thing. 13 Meats are for the belly, and the belly for meats! But God will put a stop to the operation of both; But as for the body, it is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body: 14 And as God hath raised up the Lord, he will by his power raise up you also. 15 Do you not know that your bodies are members 'of Christ? Shall I then take the members of the Christ, and make them members of a harlot? Surely no. 16 Do you not know that he who is joined to the harlot is one body with her? For the scripture saith, "They two shall be one flesh." 17 Now he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with him. 18 Flee fornication. Every other sin, which a man committeth, is without the body; but he who committeth whoredom sinneth against his own body. 19 Do you not know that your body is a temple of a holy spirit in you, which you have from God? Indeed you are not your own; 20 for you have been bought with a price. Therefore glorify God with your body and with your spirit which are his.

1 John 2:1-29

1 My children I write these things to you that you may not sin. But if any one sin, we have an advocate with the Father Jesus Christ the righteous, 2 and he is an atonement for our sins, and not for ours only, but for those of the whole world. 3 Now by this we know that we have known him, if we keep his commandments. 4 He who saith I know him, and doth not keep his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whosoever keepeth his word, in him indeed the love of" God is perfected. By this we know that we are in him 6 he who saith he abideth in him, ought to walk as he walked. 7 Brethren, I am not writing to you a new commandment but an old commandment, which you had from the beginning. This old commandment is the word which you heard from the beginning. 8 Again I write to you a new commandment, a thing which is true in him, and in you. Because the darkness is past, and the light, the true light, now shineth, 9 he who saith that he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is still in darkness. 10 He who loveth his brother, abideth in the light, and in it there is no stumbling block. 11 But he who hateth his brother is in the darkness, and walketh in the darkness, and knoweth not whither he is going, because the darkness hath blinded his eyes. 12 I write to you, children, because your sins are forgiven you on account of his name. 13 I write to you, fathers, because you have known him, who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I write to you, children, because you have known the Father. 14 I have written to you, fathers, because you have known him who is from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and you have overcome the evil one. 15 Love not the world nor the things in the world. If any one loveth the world, the love of the Father is not in him 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the desire of the eyes, and the pomp of this life are not of the Father, but are of the world. 17 Now the world is passing away, and the desire thereof; but he who doth the will of God shall abide forever. 18 Children, the last period is come: and as you have heard that the Antichrist cometh, there are even now many Antichrists, by which we know that it is the last period. 19 They went out from us; but they were not of us. For if they had been of us, they would have continued with us. 20 But to the end that they might be made manifest [because all are not of us] even you yourselves have an unction from the holy one, and know everyone. 21 I have not written to you because you do not know the truth; but because you know it, and because no kind of falsehood is of the truth. 22 Who is the liar; but he who denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is the Antichrist who denieth the Father and the Son: 23 whosoever denieth the Son, hath not the Father. 24 As for you, therefore, let that which you have heard from the beginning abide in you. If that which you have heard from the beginning abide in you, then you will abide in the Son, and in the Father. 25 And this is the promise which he hath promised us, even the life which is everlasting. 26 These things I have written to you with a view to them who are seducing you. 27 As for you, the unction which you have received from him abideth in you, and you have no need that any one should teach you. As then this unction itself teacheth you concerning all, and is true, and is not a falsity; abide ye in him as it hath taught you. 28 And now, children, abide in him, that when he shall appear we may have confidence, and not be made ashamed by him at his coming. 29 If you know that he is righteous, you know that every one who practiseth righteousness is born of him.

Hebrews 12:14-15

14 Follow peace with all men, and that holiness without which none shall see the Lord, 15 watching diligently that none fall short of the favour of God"that no root of bitterness spring up and occasion trouble, and many be defiled by it

Matthew 12:25

25 Thereupon Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said to them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation. And no city or family divided against itself can subsist.

Ephesians 4:32

32 and be kind to one another, tenderly compassionate, forgiving one another. And as God hath in Christ forgiven you,

1 John 4:7-8

7 Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God, and every one who loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8 He who doth not love hath not known God, for God is love.

Luke 17:3-4

3 Take heed to yourselves. And if thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him: and if he repent, forgive him. 4 And if he trespass against thee seven times a day, and seven times a day return to thee, saying, I repent; thou shall forgive him.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

4 Love is long suffering; it aboundeth in kindness. Love is not envious. Love is not insolent: it is not puffed up. 5 It doth not behave itself unbecomingly. It is not self interested. It is not easily provoked. It placeth not the evil to account. 6 It rejoiceth not in iniquity, but shareth in the joys of truth. 7 It beareth all things. It believeth all things. It hopeth all things. It endureth all things patiently.

Matthew 5:23-24

23 If therefore thou bring thy gift to the altar and recollect there that thy brother hath ground of complaint against thee; 24 leave there thy gift before the altar and go away. First of all be reconciled with thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

James 5:16

16 Confess your faults to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man under the divine impulse is very powerful.
