¹⁹ For the works of the flesh are manifest, which are, fornication, impurity, lewdness, ²⁰ idolatry, magic, enmities, strife, envy, anger, contentions, dissensions, heresies, ²¹ murders, drunkenness, revellings and the like, of which I tell you before, as I have also previously told you, that those who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

²⁶ But if any one among you thinks he is religious, and bridles not his tongue, but deceives his mind, that man's religion is vain.

⁴ nor indecorum and foolish talking, or jesting, things not becoming, but rather giving of thanks.

²⁹ Let no evil word proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good for useful edification, that it may afford benefit to those that hear.
