¹⁹ For it is necessary that there should be heresies among you, that the approved may be manifest among you.

¹⁵ Let us, as many as are perfect therefore, be of this mind; and if any one thinks at all otherwise, God shall also reveal this to you; ¹⁶ but in what we have attained, in this let us walk.

²⁴ Judge not according to the appearance, but judge a righteous judgment.

^{1 (2:3)} Dare any of you having a business with another be judged by the wicked, and not by the saints?

^{1 (6:5)} If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels and have not love, I am a sounding brass and a tinkling cymbal. ² And if I have prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge, and if I have all faith so as to remove mountains, and have not love, I am nothing. ³ And if I deal out all my property to feed the poor, and if I deliver my body to be burned, and have not love, I shall not be profited. ^{4 (6:6)} Love suffers long and is kind; love envies not; love is not boastful, is not puffed up, ⁵ does not behave unbecomingly, seeks not her own, is not easily provoked, devises not evil, ⁶ rejoices not in wickedness, but rejoices in the truth; ⁷ bears all things, believes all things, hopes for all things, and endures all things. ^{8 (6:7)} Love never fails; but if there are prophecies, they shall pass away; if tongues, they shall cease; if knowledge, it shall pass away. ⁹ And we know in part and we prophesy in part; ¹⁰ when the perfect has come, that which is in part shall pass away. ¹¹ When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I thought as a child, I reasoned as a child; when I became a man I put away childish things. ¹² For now we see by a mirror darkly, but then we shall see face to face; now I know in part, but then I shall know fully as I also am known. ¹³ And now remain faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

^{11 (2:4)} Speak not one against one another, brothers. He that speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law you are not a doer of the law, but a judge.

^{1 (10:1)} RECEIVE the weak in faith, not to doubtful reasonings.

^{15 (16:4)} But if your brother sins against you, go and reprove him between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. ¹⁶ But if he does not hear you, take with you one or two more, that by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established; ¹⁷ and if he will not hear them, tell the assembly; and if he will not hear the assembly, let him be to you as a gentile and a publican.
