Bible verses about "homesickness" | Riverside

Hebrews 13:5-6

5 Let your lives be free from the love of money. Be content with what you have. For he has said, "I will not fail you nor will I forsake you." 6 So we may say with courage, "The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?"

Mark 10:29-30

29 Jesus said, "I tell you truly there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or lands for my sake and for the sake of the good news, 30 who will not receive a hundred fold more now in this time, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions, and in the world to come life eternal.

2 Corinthians 1:3-7

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of loving kindness and the God of all encouragement, 4 who encourages us in every distress so that we may be able to encourage those who are in every distress by the encouragement by which we ourselves have been encouraged by God. 5 Because as the sufferings of Christ are abundant in our case, so through Christ our encouragement is abundant. 6 But if we are in distress, it is for your encouragement and salvation. If we are encouraged, it is for your encouragement which is effective in the endurance of the same sufferings that we suffer. 7 Our hope is strong regarding you, since we know that as you are partakers of the sufferings so you are of the encouragement.

Philippians 4:6-7

6 Do not worry, but in everything by prayer and entreaty with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God which passes all understanding will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
