⁶ Jesus said to him, "I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

²² The faith that you have, have to yourself before God. Blessed is the man who does not condemn himself for what he allows himself.

²⁴ No one can serve two masters. For either he will hate one and love the other or he will hold to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and Mammon.

The old command is the message that you have heard. ⁸ Again I am writing a new command, which is true in him and in you, because the darkness is passing away and the true Light is already shining. ⁹ He who says that he is in the light and hates his brother is in darkness still. ¹⁰ He who loves his brother remains in the light and there is no stumbling block in him. ¹¹ He who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness and knows not where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

¹⁷ and he is before all things and in him all things unite.

²⁷ But as for you, the anointing that you have received from him remains in you and you have no need for any one to teach you, but as his anointing teaches you about all things and is true and is no lie and as it has taught you, you must remain in him.

³⁷ But let your yes be yes and your no be no. Whatever is more than these is from evil.

²¹ You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons.

⁹ Let us not grow discouraged in doing what is noble, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow faint.

⁵⁸ So then, my beloved brethren, be firm, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord; since you know that your labor is not fruitless in the Lord.
