¹⁶ See, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Be as wise as serpents and as pure as doves. ¹⁷ Be on your guard against men. ²³ For the wages of sin is death, but the gracious gift of God is life eternal in Christ Jesus our Lord.

¹⁷ So if any one is in Christ he is a new creature. The old things have passed away, they have become new.
