²⁴ 'None is able to serve two lords, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will hold to the one, and despise the other; you are not able to serve God and Mammon.

¹⁸ if the world does hate you, you know that it has hated me before you;

³⁴ 'A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; according as I did love you, that you also love one another; ³⁵ in this shall all know that you are my disciples, if you may have love one to another.'

²⁹ Let no corrupt word out of your mouth go forth, but what is good unto the needful building up, that it may give grace to the hearers;

⁹ he who is saying, in the light he is, and his brother is hating, in the darkness he is till now;

¹⁵ Every one who is hating his brother -- a man-killer he is, and you have known that no man-killer has life age-during in him remaining,

²⁰ if any one may say -- 'I love God,' and his brother he may hate, a liar he is; for he who is not loving his brother whom he has seen, God -- whom he has not seen -- how is he able to love?
