²⁰ And Jesus said to them, Because of your unbelief: for truly I say to you, If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you shall say to this mountain, Move from here to there; and it shall move; and nothing shall be impossible for you.

²³ And blessed is he who does not stumble over me.

¹⁶ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

¹⁴ Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers: for what partnership does righteousness have with unrighteousness? and what fellowship has light with darkness? ¹⁵ And what harmony has Christ with Belial? or what does he who believes have in common with an unbeliever? ¹⁶ And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? for we are the temple of the living God; as God has said, I will live in them, and walk among them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. ¹⁷ Therefore, come out from among them, and be separate, says the Lord, and do not touch the unclean thing; and I will welcome you, ¹⁸ And will be a Father to you, and you shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.

⁶ But let him ask in faith, without wavering. For he who wavers is like a wave of the sea driven by the wind and tossed.

¹⁹ We know that we are of God, and that the whole world lies under the power of the wicked one. ²⁰ And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding, that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. ²¹ Little children, keep yourselves from idols.

³ If any man teaches otherwise, and does not consent to sound words, the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the teaching which accords with godliness; ⁴ He is proud, knowing nothing, but has an unhealthy craving for controversy and disputes about words, from which come envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions, ⁵ And wrangling among men of corrupt minds, who are destitute of the truth, and suppose that godliness is a means to gain.

²¹ Not every one who says to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

¹⁴ For many are called, but few are chosen.

²⁷ Then he said to Thomas, Reach here with your finger, and behold my hands; and reach here with your hand, and thrust it into my side: and do not be faithless, but believing. ²⁸ And Thomas said to him, My Lord and my God. ²⁹ Jesus said to him, Because you have seen me, you have believed: blessed are those who have not seen, and yet have believed.

⁵ Holding to a form of godliness, but denying its power. From such men turn away.

²² And have compassion on some, who are doubting:

¹⁵ Do not love the world, nor the things in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. ¹⁶ For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. ¹⁷ And the world passes away, along with its lusts: but he who does the will of God abides forever.

⁸ For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

¹⁶ He who believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he who does not believe shall be condemned.

⁴⁸ He who rejects me, and does not receive my words, has one who judges him: the word that I have spoken, that shall judge him on the last day.

¹⁸ He who believes in him is not condemned: but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. ¹⁹ And this is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

¹¹ And for this reason God shall send them a strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: ¹² That all those might be condemned who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in unrighteousness.

²³ Jesus said to him, If you can! all things are possible to him who believes. ²⁴ And immediately the father of the child cried out, and said, Lord, I believe; help me overcome my unbelief. ²⁵ When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying to him, You dumb and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him, and do not enter into him again.
