1 Peter 4:12-19

12 Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial which comes upon you to test you, as though some strange thing was happened to you: 13 But rejoice, insofar as you are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, you may be triumphantly joyful. 14 Blessed are you if you are insulted for the name of Christ; for the spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. 15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a meddler in other men's affairs. 16 Yet if any man suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God that he bears that name. 17 For the time has come for judgment, which must begin with the household of God: and if it begins with us, what shall the end be for those who do not obey the gospel of God? 18 And if it is with difficulty that the righteous are saved, what shall become of the ungodly and the sinner? 19 Therefore, let those who suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to a faithful Creator by doing right.

Romans 8:18

18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed to us.

James 1:2-4

2 My brethren, count it all joy when you encounter various trials; 3 Knowing that the trying of your faith produces endurance. 4 And let endurance have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

Romans 5:3-5

3 And not only this, but we also rejoice in tribulations: knowing that tribulation works perseverance; 4 And perseverance, character; and character, hope: 5 And hope does not disappoint; because the love of God has been poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

1 Peter 5:10

10 But the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.
