⁴⁶ And why do you call me, Lord, Lord, and do not do the things which I say?

²² But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, ²³ Gentleness, self-control: against such things there is no law.

⁵ Let your lives be free from the love of money; and be content with such things as you have: for he has said, I will never leave you, nor forsake you. ⁶ So we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man can do to me.

¹⁵ Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a workman who does not need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.

⁷ Because the mind set on the flesh is hostile to God: for it is not subject to the law of God, indeed it cannot be.

⁹ Therefore, there remains a sabbath rest for the people of God. ¹⁰ For he who has entered his rest, has also has ceased from his own works, as God did from his. ¹¹ Therefore, let us labour to enter that rest, lest any man fall by following their example of disobedience.

²⁴ Strive to enter in at the narrow gate: for many, I say to you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
