¹⁰ But into whatever town you enter, and they do not receive you, go out into its streets and say, ¹¹ Even the very dust of your town, which clings to us, we wipe off against you: nevertheless, be sure of this, that the kingdom of God has come near to you. ¹² I say to you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that town. ¹³ Woe to you, Chorazin! woe to you, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.

⁸ And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which figuratively is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified.

⁷ Just as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them, which gave themselves over in a similar manner to sexual immorality, and to going after strange flesh, are set forth as an example of suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
