²⁷ And Jesus looking upon them said, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.

⁹ And heal the sick who are in it, and say to them, The kingdom of God has come near to you.

¹ Then he called the twelve together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.

¹ And as he passed by, he saw a man who was blind from his birth. ² And his disciples asked him, Rabbi, who sinned, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? ³ Jesus answered, It was not that this man sinned, or his parents: but it was so the works of God would be made manifest in him. ⁴ We must work the works of him who sent me, while it is day: the night comes, when no man can work. ⁵ As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. ⁶ When he had said this, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, ⁷ And said to him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which means, Sent.) He went his way, and washed, and came back seeing.

¹⁷ For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, prepares for us an incomparable and eternal weight of glory;

²⁴ He himself bore our sins in his own body on the tree, that we might die to sins and live to righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.

⁷ Casting all your anxiety upon him; for he cares for you.

¹⁴ Is anyone among you sick? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: ¹⁵ And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

⁴ And he shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, or sorrow, or crying, or pain: for the former things have passed away.

³ And not only this, but we also rejoice in tribulations: knowing that tribulation works perseverance; ⁴ And perseverance, character; and character, hope:

² Beloved, I pray that in all things you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.
