Bible verses about "revelation" | RKJNT

Matthew 6:10

10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.

Ephesians 1:17-19

17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 That the eyes of your heart may be enlightened; so you may know what is the hope of his calling, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, 19 And what is the incomparable greatness of his power toward us who believe. It is the working of his mighty power,

Revelation 1:8

8 I am Alpha and Omega, says the Lord, who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.

John 14:6

6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me.

Hebrews 1:1

1 God, who spoke in times past to our fathers by the prophets at many times and in various ways,

Revelation 13:1-18

1 { And I saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon each head a name of blasphemy.} 2 And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his throne, and great authority. 3 And one of his heads seemed to have had a death-blow; but his deadly wound was healed: and all the world was astonished and followed after the beast. 4 And they worshipped the dragon, because he gave authority to the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like the beast? who is able to make war against him? 5 And there was given to him a mouth speaking proud words and blasphemies; and authority was given to him to act for forty-two months. 6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his dwelling, and those who live in heaven. 7 And it was given to him to make war on the saints, and to overcome them: and authority was given to him over every tribe, and people, and tongue, and nation. 8 And all who live upon the earth shall worship him, every one whose name is not written in the book of life of the Lamb that was slain from the foundation of the world. 9 If any man has an ear, let him hear. 10 He who is to go into captivity shall go into captivity: he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the endurance and the faith of the saints. 11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke like a dragon. 12 And he exercises all the power of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who live in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13 And he performs great wonders, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven to the earth in the sight of men, 14 And deceives those who live on the earth by the miracles which he had the power to do in the sight of the beast; bidding those who live on the earth to make an image in honour of the beast, who was wounded by the sword, and yet lived. 15 And he had power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 And he causes everyone, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand, or on his forehead: 17 And no man might buy or sell, unless he had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 This calls for wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty-six.

Matthew 16:17

17 And Jesus answered and said to him, Blessed are you, Simon, son of Jonah: for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.

Matthew 5:8

8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Revelation 1:1-20

1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to him, to show to his servants the things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent his angel to make it known to his servant John: 2 Who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw. 3 Blessed is he who reads, and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and heed those things which are written in it: for the time is at hand. 4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be to you, and peace, from him who is, and who was, and who is to come; and from the seven Spirits who are before his throne; 5 And from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, and the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us, and freed us from our sins by his own blood, 6 And has made us a kingdom, and priests to his God and Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. 7 Behold, he comes with the clouds; and every eye shall see him, even those who pierced him: and all families of the earth shall mourn because of him. Even so, Amen. 8 I am Alpha and Omega, says the Lord, who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty. 9 I, John, your brother and companion in the tribulation, and kingdom, and endurance which are ours in Jesus, was on the island that is called Patmos, because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus. 10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, 11 Saying, What you see, write in a book, and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus, and to Smyrna, and to Pergamum, and to Thyatira, and to Sardis, and to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea. 12 And I turned to see the voice that was speaking to me. And having turned, I saw seven golden lampstands; 13 And in the midst of the seven lampstands, one like a Son of man, clothed with a garment down to his feet, and around his breast a golden girdle. 14 His head and his hair were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were like a flame of fire; 15 And his feet like burnished bronze, as if they glowed in a furnace; and his voice like the sound of many waters. 16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth came a sharp two-edged sword: and his face was like the sun shining at full strength. 17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as if dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying to me, Do not fear; I am the first and the last, 18 The one who lives; I was dead, and, behold, I am alive forevermore, and possess the keys of death and of Hades. 19 Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter; 20 The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden lampstands, is this: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.

Revelation 19:6-8

6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, like the sound of many waters, like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord our God omnipotent reigns. 7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give glory to him: for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. 8 And it was granted to her to be clothed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.

Revelation 10:1-11

1 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire. 2 And he had open in his hand a little scroll: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot upon the earth, 3 And he cried out with a loud voice, as when a lion roars: and when he had cried out, the voices of seven thunders spoke. 4 And when the seven thunders had spoken, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders spoke, and do not write them. 5 And the angel, whom I saw standing upon the sea and upon the earth, lifted up his hand to heaven, 6 And swore by him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that are in it, and the earth, and the things that are in it, and the sea, and the things that are in it, that there should be no more delay: 7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God will be fulfilled, as he has declared to his servants the prophets. 8 And the voice which I heard from heaven spoke to me again, and said, Go and take the little scroll which is open in the hand of the angel who stands upon the sea and upon the earth. 9 And I went to the angel, and said to him, Give me the little scroll. And he said to me, Take, and eat it; it shall make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it shall be sweet as honey. 10 And I took the little scroll out of the angel's hand, and ate it; and in my mouth it was sweet as honey: but as soon as I had eaten it, my stomach was made bitter. 11 And he said to me, You must prophesy again about many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.
