²² But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

¹ Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. For me to write the same things to you is no trouble, and is a safeguard for you.

¹ Therefore, my brethren, whom I dearly love and long for, my joy and crown, in this way stand fast in the Lord, my beloved.

⁴ Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice. ⁵ Let your forbearing spirit be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. ⁶ Be anxious about nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. ⁷ And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

¹⁸ There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear: because fear has to do with punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.

³ And not only this, but we also rejoice in tribulations: knowing that tribulation works perseverance; ⁴ And perseverance, character; and character, hope:

¹⁶ Rejoice always.

⁴ Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
