¹⁶ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

²⁰ For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.

³⁰ But because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, and righteousness, and holiness, and redemption:

¹⁸ For you know that you were not redeemed with perishable things, such as silver and gold, from the vain way of life you inherited from your fathers; ¹⁹ But with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

¹⁰ For with the heart man believes and is made righteous; and with the mouth confesses and is saved.

²⁴ Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: ²⁵ Whom God has set forth to be an atoning sacrifice through faith in his blood. He did this to declare his righteousness, for in the forbearance of God, he passed over sins of the past; ²⁶ To declare at this present time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

¹⁶ By this we know love, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

¹⁴ Who gave himself up for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify for himself a people of his own, zealous for good works.

²⁰ And through him to reconcile all things to himself, whether things on earth, or things in heaven; having made peace through the blood of his cross. ²¹ And you who were at one time alienated and enemies in your minds because of wicked deeds, ²² He has now reconciled in his body of flesh through death, to present you holy and blameless and irreproachable in his sight:

¹⁴ In whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

²⁰ I have been crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

⁷ In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
