¹² Therefore, all things that you would have men do for you, do for them: for this is the law and the prophets.

³² For if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? for sinners also love those who love them.

²⁷ If any of those who do not believe ask you to a meal, and you are disposed to go; eat whatever is set before you, without asking questions for conscience sake.

¹⁹ Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God, and that you are not your own? ²⁰ For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.

⁶ Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer every man.

¹ Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do every good work, ² To speak evil of no man, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all courtesy to all men.

¹¹ Not that which goes into the mouth defiles a man; but that which comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.

⁴ Love is patient, and is kind; love does not envy; love does not boast, and is not arrogant; ⁵ It is not rude, does not insist on its own way, is not easily provoked, it keeps no account of wrongs suffered;

³ Let nothing be done through selfishness or vain conceit; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem the others as better than himself.

¹⁰ Be devoted to one another with brotherly love; honour one another more than yourselves;

⁸ Finally, be of one mind, have sympathy for one another, love as brethren, be compassionate, be humble.

²⁹ Let no corrupt words proceed out of your mouth, but only that which is good for edifying, that it may impart grace to the hearers.

³³ Do not be deceived: bad company corrupts good morals.

³¹ And as you would have men do to you, do the same to them.
