Bible verses about "jericho" | RKJNT

Mark 10:46-52

46 And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway begging. 47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me. 48 And many commanded him to hold his peace: but he cried out all the more, Son of David, have mercy on me. 49 And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they called the blind man, saying to him, Take courage, arise; he calls you. 50 And he cast away his cloak, arose, and came to Jesus. 51 And Jesus said to him, What do you want that I should do for you? The blind man said to him, Master, I want to receive my sight. 52 And Jesus said to him, Go your way; your faith has made you well. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus along the way.

Luke 19:1-9

1 And Jesus entered and was passing through Jericho. 2 And, behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus, who was the chief among the tax gatherers, and he was rich. 3 And he sought to see who Jesus was; but could not because of the crowd, for he was of small stature. 4 And he ran ahead, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way. 5 And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said to him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for today I must stay at your house. 6 And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully. 7 And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, He has gone to be the guest of a man who is a sinner. 8 And Zacchaeus stood, and said to the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have defrauded any man of anything, I will repay it fourfold. 9 And Jesus said to him, This day salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham.

Hebrews 11:30
