Luke 22:54-60

54 Then they seized him, and led him away, and brought him into the high priest's house. And Peter followed from afar. 55 And when they had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard, and sat down together, Peter sat among them. 56 But a certain maid beheld him as he sat by the fire, and earnestly looked upon him, and said, This man was also with him. 57 And he denied it, saying, Woman, I do not know him. 58 And after a little while another saw him, and said, You are also one of them. And Peter said, Man, I am not. 59 And after about an hour another insisted, Truly this man was also with him: for he is a Galilaean. 60 And Peter said, Man, I do not know what you are saying. And immediately, while he yet spoke, the cock crowed.

Matthew 5:11-12

11 Blessed are you, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Mark 14:66-72

66 And as Peter was below in the courtyard, one of the maids of the high priest came: 67 And when she saw Peter warming himself, she looked at him, and said, You also were with Jesus of Nazareth. 68 But he denied it, saying, I do not know or understand what you are saying. And he went out into the entryway. 69 And the maid saw him again, and began to say to those who stood by, This is one of them. 70 And he denied it again. And a little later, those who stood nearby again said to Peter, Surely you are one of them: for you are also a Galilaean. 71 But he began to curse and to swear, saying, I do not know this man of whom you speak. 72 And the second time the cock crowed. And Peter remembered that Jesus said to him, Before the cock crows twice, you shall deny me three times. And when he remembered this, he wept.

Galatians 2:11-14

11 But when Peter came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he stood condemned. 12 For before certain men came from James, he ate with the Gentiles: but when they had come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing those who were of the circumcision. 13 And the other Jews joined him in insincerity; so that even Barnabas was carried away with their insincerity. 14 But when I saw that they did not walk uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas before them all, If you, being a Jew, live like the Gentiles, and not like the Jews, why do you compel the Gentiles to live like the Jews?

2 Timothy 1:7

7 For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of self-discipline.

Revelation 21:8

8 But the cowardly, and unbelieving, and the vile, and murderers, and the sexually immoral, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and sulphur: which is the second death.
