³⁸ Then Peter said to them, Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

⁶ Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me.

⁹ But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God; that you should declare the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.

¹⁰ But the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.

⁷ For God has not called us to impurity, but to holiness.

⁴ There is one body, and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope in your calling;

¹¹ With this in mind we pray always for you, that our God may count you worthy of his calling, and would with power fulfill every good purpose and work of faith: ¹² That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

⁴ For as we have many members in one body, and all the members do not have the same function:

²⁹ For the gifts and calling of God are never revoked.

¹⁰ Therefore, brethren, be all the more diligent to make your calling and election sure: for if you do these things, you shall never fall:

¹ Therefore I, a prisoner of the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, ² With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love; ³ Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
