¹⁷ Therefore, if any one is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

⁹ Know ye not, that wrongdoers shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor the effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

⁶ But without faith it is impossible to please him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him.

⁷ Submit yourselves therefore to God; resist the Devil, and he will flee from you.

³ knowing that the trying of your faith worketh endurance.

⁹ And let us not be fainthearted in welldoing; for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

¹⁶ Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that ye may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

²³ let us hold fast the profession of our hope without wavering, for he is faithful who promised;

⁶ But let him ask in faith, nothing doubting; for he that doubteth is like a wave of the sea driven by the wind and tossed.
