²⁰ For I say to you, Unless your righteousness shall exceed that of the scribes and Pharisees, ye will not enter the kingdom of heaven.

⁴ For Christ is the end of the Law, so that every one that believeth may obtain righteousness.

²¹ Him, who knew not sin, he made sin for us, that we might become Gods righteousness in him.

¹⁴ But if ye even suffer for righteousness sake, happy are ye. And be not afraid at their terrors, nor alarmed;

¹⁰ But the God of all grace, who called you to his everlasting glory in Christ Jesus, will, after ye have suffered a while, himself make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you.

²² But flee youthful lusts, and follow righteousness, faith, love, peace, with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

¹ Therefore being accepted as righteous through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ; ² through whom also we have had admission into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in the hope of the glory which God will confer. ³ And not only so, but we rejoice in afflictions also, knowing that affliction produceth endurance, ⁴ and endurance proof [of faith], and proof [of faith giveth] hope; ⁵ and hope will not disappoint us; because the love of God hath been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit which hath been given to us.

²⁹ If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one also that doeth righteousness hath been born of him.

⁷ My children, let no one deceive you; he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
