Mark 12:41-44

41 And he sat over against the treasury, and was beholding how the people cast money into the treasury. And many that were rich were casting in much. 42 And a certain poor widow came and threw in two mites, which make a farthing. 43 And he called to him his disciples, and said to them, Truly do I say to you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than all those who are casting into the treasury. 44 For they all threw in of their abundance; but she out of her penury threw in all that she had, her whole living.

Luke 12:33-34

33 Sell what ye have, and give alms. Make for yourselves purses which wax not old, treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, nor moth destroyeth. 34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

1 Timothy 6:17-19

17 Charge those who are rich in this world that they be not highminded, nor place their hope in uncertain riches, but in God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; that they do good, 18 that they be rich in good works, liberal in imparting, willing to communicate, 19 laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on the true life.

Luke 6:38

38 give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will men give into your bosom; for with what measure ye mete, it will be measured to you in return.

Acts 20:35

35 In all ways I showed you that so laboring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that he himself said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

2 Corinthians 9:6-15

6 But this there is to say: He that soweth sparingly, shall reap also sparingly; and he that soweth bountifully, shall reap also bountifully. 7 Each one, as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity; for God loveth a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make every blessing abound toward you, that ye, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work; 9 as it is written: "He dispersed abroad, he gave to the poor; his righteousness remaineth for ever." 10 Now, he that ministereth seed to the sower, and bread for food, will supply and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness; 11 while ye are enriched in everything to all liberality, which worketh out through us thanksgiving to God; 12 for the ministration of this service not only supplieth the wants of the saints, but also overfloweth through many thanksgivings to God; 13 while by the proof afforded by this ministration they glorify God for your obedience to your profession in regard to the gospel of Christ, and for the liberality of your contribution in regard to them and in regard to all; 14 while with supplication for you they long after you on account of the exceeding grace of God to you. 15 Thanks be to God for his unspeakable gift.
