¹ And I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key of the abyss, and a great chain in his hand.

¹ And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fallen out of heaven to the earth, and to him was given the key of the pit of the abyss;

⁵² Woe to you lawyers! because ye have taken away the key of knowledge; ye have not entered yourselves, and those who were entering ye have hindered.

⁷ And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These things saith he who is holy, he who is true, he who hath the key of David; he who openeth, and no one shall shut; and shutteth, and no one shall open:

¹⁸ and he that liveth; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive for evermore; and I have the keys of death and the underworld.

¹⁹ I will give thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever thou shalt bind on earth will be bound in heaven; and whatever thou shalt loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
