¹⁴ And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth; and we beheld his glory, a glory as of an only begotten of a father.

¹¹ Now the meaning of the parable is this. The seed is the word of God.

⁴ For whatever things were written aforetime, were written for our instruction; that we through the patience and the consolation of the Scriptures might have hope.

¹⁶ All Scripture is inspired by God, and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for discipline in righteousness;
