¹⁷ Therefore, if any one is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

⁹ [he,] whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power, and signs, and wonders of falsehood, ¹⁰ and in all deceit of unrighteousness for those who are perishing; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

¹⁷ Faith then cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

¹ But know this, that in the last days grievous times will come. ² For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without ³ natural affection, implacable, slanderers, incontinent, fierce, without love for what is good, ⁴ betrayers, headstrong, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God;

¹¹ Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the Devil;

²⁴ The father of the child immediately cried out and said, I believe; help thou my unbelief.

⁷ Because the mind of the flesh is enmity against God; for it doth not submit itself to the Law of God, neither indeed can it.

⁷ ever learning, and never able to come to the full knowledge of the truth.

³ For the time will come, when they will not endure sound doctrine, but after their own desires will they heap to themselves teachers; because they have itching ears; ⁴ and they will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn aside to fables.
