Bible verses about "mercy" | NSB

Psalms 103:1-22

1 ([Psalm of David]) Bless Jehovah with all my being. With all that I am I praise his holy name! 2 With all my heart I praise Jehovah! Do not forget how kind he has been. 3 He forgives all your iniquities and heals all your diseases. 4 He redeems your life from ruin and crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercies. 5 He satisfies you with good; your youth is renewed like the eagles. 6 Jehovah works righteousness and judgment for all who are oppressed. 7 He made known his ways to Moses, His deeds to the sons of Israel. 8 Jehovah is merciful and gracious. He is slow to anger, and rich in loving-kindness. 9 He will not always chasten, nor will he keep his anger forever. 10 He has not dealt with us according to our sins. He has not requited us according to our iniquities. 11 For as the heavens are high above the earth, so is his mercy toward those who reverence him. 12 As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. (as far as the sunrise is from the sunset) (farther then one could ever travel) 13 Jehovah has compassion for those who reverence him just as a father has compassion for his children. 14 For he knows our conception and he remembers that we are dust. 15 Man’s days are as grass; as a flower of the field, so he flourishes. 16 The wind passes over it, and it is gone; and its place shall know it no more. 17 But the loving kindness of Jehovah is from everlasting to everlasting on those who reverence him, and his righteousness is to the sons of sons. 18 It is to those who keep his covenant, and to those who remember to do his commandments. 19 Jehovah has prepared his throne in the heavens. His kingdom rules over all. 20 Bless Jehovah you angels of his, you who excel in strength, who obey his command, and listen to the voice of his Word. 21 Bless Jehovah all his hosts. Bless Jehovah you ministers of his who do his will. 22 Bless Jehovah, all his works in all places he rules. Bless Jehovah with all my being.
