Bible verses about "loneliness" | NSB

Psalms 38:9

9 You know all my desires, O Jehovah. My groaning has not been hidden from you.

John 14:18

18 »I will not leave you desolate. I will come to you.

Romans 8:35-39

35 Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 It is written: »For your sake we are put to death all day long. We are considered as sheep for the slaughter.« (Psalm 44:22) 37 In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Ephesians 6:12)

Philippians 4:6-7

6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Hebrews 13:1-25

1 You should continue to love one another as brothers. 2 Show hospitality to strangers, for some have entertained angels without knowing it. 3 Remember those who are in prison, as though you were in prison with them. Remember those who are suffering, as though you were suffering as they are. 4 Let marriage be honorable among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled: for God will judge fornicators and adulterers. 5 You should be free from the love of money. Be content with what you have, for he has said: »I will not leave you. I will not forsake you.« 6 So that with good confidence (courage) we say: »Jehovah is my helper; I will not fear: What shall man do to me?« (Psalm 56:11) 7 Remember those who are taking the lead among you, men that spoke the Word of God to you. Consider their behavior and imitate their faith. 8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. 9 Do not be carried away by varied (different) and strange teachings. It is good that the heart is established by grace and not by food. Those who are occupied by them are not benefited. 10 We have an altar from which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat. 11 For the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the Holy Place by the high priest as an offering for sin, are burned outside the camp. 12 Jesus suffered outside the gate that he might sanctify the people through his own blood. 13 Let us therefore go forth to him outside the camp, bearing his reproach. 14 We do not have a city that continues. We seek after the city that is to come. 15 Let us continually offer a sacrifice of praise to God through him [Jesus], that is, the fruit of lips that make confession (give thanks and offer praise) to his name. 16 Do not forget (neglect) to do good and to communicate (fellowship) (share), for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. 17 Obey those who lead you. Submit to them: for they watch in behalf of your lives and must account for this. Obey them that their work may be a joy and not a burden; that would be without gain for you. 18 Pray for us, for we are persuaded that we have a good conscience. And we wish to live honorably in all things. 19 I exhort you the more exceedingly to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner. 20 Now the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, even our Lord Jesus, 21 make you perfect (mature) in every good thing. May you do his will, working in us that which is well-pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be the glory for ever and ever. Amen. 22 I urge you, brothers, bear with the word of exhortation. I have written to you in few words. 23 Do you know that brother Timothy has been released? If he comes shortly, I will see you. 24 Greet all those who rule over you, and all the holy ones. They in Italy greet you. 25 Grace be with you all. Amen.

2 Timothy 4:16-18

16 At first no one defended me. They all abandoned me. May it not be counted against them. 17 But the Lord stood by me, and strengthened me; that through me the message might be fully proclaimed, and that all the people of the nations might hear. I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion (Satan the Devil) (great danger) (1 Peter 5:8) (Psalm 22:21) (1 Thessalonians 2:18). 18 The Lord will deliver me from every evil work. He will save me to his heavenly kingdom. To him is the glory forever and ever. Amen.

Psalms 27:10

10 Even if my father and mother abandon (forsake) me, Jehovah will take care of me.

Matthew 28:20

20 »Teach them to observe all the things I have commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.«

Hebrews 13:5

5 You should be free from the love of money. Be content with what you have, for he has said: »I will not leave you. I will not forsake you.«

Genesis 2:18

18 Jehovah God said: »It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.«

Deuteronomy 31:6

6 »Be determined and with good courage. Do not be afraid of them. Your God, Jehovah, will be with you. He will not fail you or abandon you.

Joshua 1:5

5 »No man will be able to resist you all the days of your life. Just as I was with Moses I will be with you. I will not fail you nor forsake you.

Psalms 23:4

4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for you are with me. Your rod and your staff they comfort me.

1 Peter 5:7

7 Throw all your anxiety upon him, because he cares for you.

Isaiah 41:10

10 »‘Do not fear for I am with you! Do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.’
