¹⁷ When you help the poor (needy) (lowly) (depressed) you lend to Jehovah. He will pay you back.

¹⁰ So then, as we have opportunity, let us work that which is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.

⁹ Do not repay evil for evil, or insult for insult. Do just the opposite. For you were called to inherit a blessing.

¹⁸ My Little children, let us not love in word, neither with the tongue; but in deed and truth.

²⁶ She opens her mouth with wisdom and in her tongue is the law of kindness (she speaks kind things).

⁴ Love is patient. Love is kind. Love is not jealous. Love does not brag and is not arrogant (proud). ⁵ Love does not act indecently. It is not selfish. It is not provoked and does not take into account a wrong suffered. ⁶ Love does not rejoice with evil, but rejoices with the truth. ⁷ It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.

¹² As God’s chosen, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness (humility), meekness (mildness), and long-suffering (patience).

¹⁷ The merciful man does himself good. The cruel man troubles his own flesh.

³⁵ »Love your enemies and do good to them. Lend expecting nothing in return and your reward will be great. You will be sons of the Most High for he is kind toward the unthankful and evil.

³² You should be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, even as God also forgave you through (by means of) Christ.
